Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Accounts are non-transferable. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate any account at our discretion.
Pricing & Payments
Paid tiers (Pro and Business) are annual access purchases processed through PayPal. Each purchase grants 1 year of full access to the corresponding tier. There is no auto-renewal — purchases do not recur, and you choose when (and if) to renew. Prices are listed in USD on the pricing page. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect existing purchases.
What Happens When Your Plan Expires
When your 1-year access period ends, your account is automatically downgraded to the Free tier. The commercial license for everything you generated during your active period remains valid for life — you keep full rights to sell, publish, and distribute those mazes. You will not be able to generate new mazes with paid features until you renew. Renewing repurchases the same tier and starts a new 1-year access period.
Refund Policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you experience a problem with the product, contact us at contact@themazegenerator.com with a description of the issue. We will work to resolve it. If the issue cannot be fixed, a full refund will be issued. Refund requests must describe the problem encountered. Refunds are not applicable for feature requests or suggestions.
In the event that the service is permanently discontinued, refunds will not be available for past purchases.
What You Can Do With Generated Mazes
- Free tier: Generated mazes are for personal, non-commercial use only.
- Pro and Business tiers: You receive a perpetual, non-exclusive commercial license to use mazes you generate in any product you create — including books sold on Amazon KDP, Etsy, or any other platform. You own the output you create.
This license covers the maze images you generate. It does not grant rights to our software, source code, website design, or branding.
What You Cannot Do
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Website or your account.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or automate requests to the Website beyond normal use.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Website or other users' accounts.
- Use the Website for any unlawful purpose.
Intellectual Property
The Website — including its design, code, logos, and branding — is our property and protected by copyright. Your paid license covers only the maze images you generate, not any other part of the Website.
Third-Party Services
The Website uses PayPal for payment processing. When you interact with PayPal, their own terms and privacy policy apply. We are not responsible for third-party services.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your license to use the Website ends, but any commercial license granted for mazes already generated and downloaded remains valid.
No Warranties
The Website and all content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the Website will be error-free.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Website. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Website after changes constitutes acceptance.
